ROAD TO WEMBLY…🏆 ✖ 7️⃣

Hi everyone, this is Olivia. In this post, I’ll give a short summary of Bayern Munich’s Champions League journey ; Their latest results, key milestones, how the team has handled rotation, and what their future in Europe might look like. Spoiler alert: a 17-year-old just stole the spotlight!

🏆 Bayern Munich vs Club Brugge KV

Date: October 22, 2025

Competition: UEFA Champions League Group Stage

Final Score: Bayern Munich 4 : 0 Club Brugge

Bayern were absolutely cooking at home in the Allianz Arena last night, smashing Club Brugge 4–0 and keeping their Champions League winning streak alive. It was one of those games where Kane could’ve probably played in slippers. He scored early, then clocked out and watched the kids handle the rest.

The real star of the show was 17-year-old Lennart Karl, who made his first Champions League start and immediately decided to break Musiala’s record by becoming Bayern’s youngest UCL scorer. His finish was pure class. He dribbled through a crowd, ignored four defenders chasing him, and smashed the ball into the corner, reminding me of young Messi‼!

Coach Vincent Kompany decided to have some fun with tactics. He used a pair of inverted fullbacks, a move that actually worked really well. Karl, Michael Olise, and Raphaël Guerreiro kept rotating positions on the right side and completely confused Brugge’s defense.

Konrad Laimer was everywhere, running like he had unlimited energy. He assisted three goals and looked unstoppable. Díaz attacked hard down the left wing, while Aleksandar Pavlović quietly ran over 13 kilometers and completed 102 of 103 passes, which is just ridiculous.

Brugge, to their credit, tried to attack. Their coach started with a brave 4-1-4-1 shape to “go toe-to-toe” with Bayern… which lasted about ten minutes before they realized that was a horrible idea. They switched to damage control after halftime to avoid being totally embarrassed.

Manuel Neuer also had a good night, staying calm under pressure and picking up his first Champions League clean sheet in months. His passing from the back was perfect as usual.

After this win, Bayern’s goal difference matched Paris Saint-Germain’s, putting both teams level at the top of the group. In two weeks they will face PSG in Paris, and then meet Arsenal soon after. Those games will show how strong Kompany’s Bayern really is!

As a Bayern fan, I honestly cannot wait to see how far they go in the Champions League — hopefully all the way to getting Kane’s first actual real trophy 🏆 (the Bundesliga one was just a plate LMAO). Maybe this will finally be the season when he gets his Ballon d’Or too 😆
